Lewis Day Goes Live with Magenta Technology’s Tracking Solution
London, 19 July 2011 – Lewis Day (www.lewisday.co.uk), the UKs fastest growing passenger car and courier company, has selected Magenta Technology’s live vehicle tracking solution to monitor its growing fleet of cars, vans and bikes. Magenta’s Echo Tracking, which is highly tuned to Lewis Day’s operational needs, went live in June 2011 as a part of Lewis Day’s move to boost the business performance while becoming more cost efficient. The new tracking solution will enable Lewis Day to meet the growing demands of the market – by enabling more efficient and informed fleet operations and a better controlled fleet.
The Echo fleet tracking solution provides an accurate record and display of the current and historical positioning and status of Lewis Day’s vehicles – enabling customer service staff to monitor multiple or individual vehicles and update customers accordingly. A selection of easily accessible reports, including reports on working hours, mileage, events and exceptions, provides all the essential operational and management data to hand, giving a multi-dimensional insight into the fleet’s and individuals’ operations and performance – ultimately giving Lewis Day essential knowledge to provide the best customer service.
Magenta’s solution features an open architecture which will allow Lewis Day to enhance the system when needed and seamlessly integrate with existing and future software.
