Magenta’s New Autonomics Software Engine Set to Revolutionise Private Hire Dispatch

London, 28 April 2017: Visitors to the forthcoming Private Hire and Taxi Expo will be the first to experience the next generation of dispatch software. Featuring a revolutionary ‘autonomic engine’ and state of the art Business Intelligence Dashboards, Magenta’s latest offering is being presented as a game changer; an optimisation system that thinks for itself but also gives operators the ability to try out different strategies without any risk.

With arrival times based on real traffic conditions and driver availability rather than zones and queues, allocation priorities changeable at the touch of a button, as well as a smart user interface, the new Magenta solution will have visitors desperate for a first look. The new Magenta software will be on show at PHTM, taking place at the Arena MK, Milton Keynes from 17-18 May 2017.

Our new autonomic software is based on our own bodies where the autonomic nervous system is basically what makes us tick. It’s what controls our breathing, heart rate and blood pressure without any conscious intervention. So our autonomics engine does the same for dispatch operations; it treats the fleet as the living, breathing thing it is!” said Torsten Brose, Business Development Manager at Magenta Technology.

Magenta’s new autonomics engine uses complex algorithms that allow users to operate to their full potential. Rather than replicating the manual planning process, like traditional dispatch systems, Magenta’s autonomics engine completely automates the day to day tasks, such as allocation and optimisation, by itself.

Magenta has also invested heavily in brand new Business Intelligence Dashboards. Giving users the ability try out different scenarios and instantly see the impact, means operators can make decisions based on real results rather than just gut feelings. The Magenta BI Dashboards can help with issues such as driver retention, and are second to none in terms of intelligence, usability, visualisation and, importantly, results.

All operational information is accessed via a smart user interface, and the new Magenta software also includes tools for capacity management, dynamic delay and data analysis. As with other systems, Magenta also offers a suite of apps and a package they say cannot be beaten.

We have four core values that sit at the heart of everything we do, and, like our autonomics engine, make us tick: innovation, collaboration, value and support,” added Brose. “We want to be a technology partner not a software supplier, so we need to make sure we offer the right solution, delivered in the right way, at the right price and with the right support – and that means right for the operator not the supplier!
