Maxoptra is an advanced yet easy to use route optimisation planning tool. As a business we are committed to developing, delivering and implementing software solutions that make a real difference to our rapidly growing customer base. Inside Sales Executive Maxoptra, full time, Brighton-based

We are looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven Inside Sales Executive to join our Brighton-based business development team. You will be working amongst like-minded people who are committed to delivering new customers to our rapidly expanding business. You need to be experienced in researching, warming and converting leads into revenue generating business. Experience of working in the transport or logistics sectors would be preferable but not essential.

Business development team based in Brighton, UK

Objective:
To identify and qualify new business opportunities in the UK and convert them into profitable contracted subscriptions for the Maxoptra SaaS offering in order to meet annual sales target.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and expand the sales pipeline and assist in maximising the lead generation campaigns
  • Reviewing assigned leads and evaluating potential opportunities
  • Making appointments with decision makers by phone/email/social media
  • Arranging and undertaking the appropriate number of online customer meetings, demonstrations and presentations
  • Identifying key decision makers, preparing and presenting effective proposals repositioning the product as required
  • Negotiating and closing the sale
  • Assist in identifying changing needs within the market, feedback information to ensure the product remains appropriate and competitive
  • Complete sales order documentation in a timely and comprehensive manner ensuring that accurate records are maintained both for existing and new prospects/clients
  • Complete weekly/monthly reports or forecasts as required
  • Ensure all information is collated and entered on the company database/CRM system
  • Generally, act as an ambassador for the company, looking to promote services wherever and to whoever possible

Business Development Executive Maxoptra, full time, Brighton-based

This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding, Brighton-based, business development team where you will be responsible for engaging with potential prospects, setting meetings and tracking performance. In essence this is a telemarketing role where your telephone and email skills will be put to the test. The current team are delivering great results, so we are looking to expand and bring in more people to build on this success.

Magenta Technology is a growing business focused on the development, implementation and support of logistics optimisation software solutions. This is a fast paced industry where our products offer big benefits to two specific market sectors: the private hire and taxi industry; and the commercial truck fleet market.

The role:
As a business we believe in investing in good people to help drive our business forward. As a result, we are looking for an enthusiastic marketing executive to join our UK-based marketing team. Working closely with, and reporting to, the marketing manager, and the team of over 10 internal employees and external suppliers, you will be tasked with tackling a wide range of different marketing projects spanning both areas of our growing business. From offline PR, advertising and design through to the exciting new world of social media marketing in a b2b environment, there is certainly never a dull moment in the Magenta marketing team.

Key tasks will include:

  • News generation and distribution – traditional press releases, blog post ideas, input into email marketing initiatives.
  • Working on news features and associated articles; media relations experience would be useful.
  • Delivery of outbound marketing communications – working with other team members to ensure our deliverable targets are met and that progress is tracked.
  • Monitoring and measurement of ongoing marketing performance – campaign tracking, performance report generation etc.
  • Event management – internal seminars, trade shows, partner events etc.
  • Assist in all elements of the marketing mix – both offline and online.
  • Design creativity – working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop and implement new ways of visually promoting our brand.
  • Video project management.
  • Helping to manage external agency relationships; in this role you will be the ‘go to’ person for PR, creative, social media and telemarketing agency support.
  • Data cleansing and database management (experience of using Dynamics would be ideal but not essential).
  • Brainstorming ways of increasing brand awareness for both Magenta’s products.
  • Active participation in regular team strategy sessions.

Skills & experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communicator able to take business ideas and turn them into outbound communications targeted at both customers and prospects.
  • Excellent project management skills, able to handle multiple projects at any one time and deal with stakeholders to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met on time and within budget.
  • A sound understanding of online marketing: SEO, PPC etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of, and experience of using, social media channels to increase engagement and deliver results.
  • The ability to work effectively in a remote team environment – based at home but working with others both within the UK and overseas.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude is essential.
  • Good computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • At least 2 years hands on marketing experience, preferably within a B2B environment.
  • CIM marketing qualification is desirable but not essential.

Our working environment:
Magenta Technology has two offices in the UK – one in London and one in Brighton, both with close links to our international offices located in Russia. This role will be home-based but there are regular meetings in both UK offices which you will be required to attend. We manage a lot of our communication using Skype and GoToMeeting so being comfortable working in this way is definitely something to think about.
