Magenta Technology Prepares for 2017 Success

London, 17 January 2017 – Following a successful 2016, Magenta Technology, the company behind the market’s most innovative private hire and taxi dispatch platform, is preparing for a period of substantial expansion in 2017. 2016 saw the award winning technology company make a number of significant appointments to its management team, invest in product development and improve its customer support service. New customer additions announced by Magenta in 2016 included Blackberry Cars, a specialist provider of airport transfers and taxi services, and award winning private hire company Carrot Cars. Magenta is also working on a number of international opportunities, which it hopes to announce in early 2017.

“We offer solutions that are sophisticated, functionality rich and deliver massive benefits to our user community,” commented Anton Dmitriev, CEO of Magenta Technology. “When underpinned with a research and development centre that employs more than 160 staff, a dedicated support team and a management team with unrivalled experience, Magenta is ideally placed to maximise the opportunities identified in 2016 and those that are already presenting themselves in 2017.”

In 2016 Magenta strengthened its market position within the private hire and taxi sector with a number of key appointments to the senior management team. With a combined experience of nearly fifty years in relevant industry sectors, Torsten Brose joined as Business Development Director, Jane Geary was appointed Marketing Manager and Claire Morris took on the role of Key Account Manager.

“Minicab operators, private hire and taxi companies are continuously battling against the impact of global disruptors, such as Uber, responding to the threat of technology, including driverless cars, and even struggling just to operate within ever more restricting legislation,” commented Torsten Brose. “This is why, in 2016, we have paved the way for success, working with existing and prospective clients to truly understand the opportunities and threats they are facing and develop solutions to address them.”

Towards the end of 2016, Magenta also celebrated multiple award success, becoming the proud recipient of an Energy Saving Trust Fleet Hero Award, and seeing eConnect Cars, user of its private hire and dispatch software, secure two highly prestigious environmental awards at separate industry events. Magenta also achieved Microsoft Gold partner status and certified application for their software platform.
